Cassie had a promising future until a mysterious incident turned her life upside down. Since that moment, nothing in Cassie's life is what it appears to be, and she's living a secret double life. By day she’s a charismatic, promising young woman, by night she goes from night club to night club pretending to be drunk and have insincerely concerned men pick her up.
Now, an unexpected encounter is about to give Cassie a chance to right the wrongs from the past. Emerald Fennell (writer and producer of the popular series Killing Eve) makes her directing debut with Promising Young Woman starring Carey Mulligan (Drive).
