Blauwe Zaal, Auditorium
Prijs: Gratis (Student) Gratis (Anderen)

Take a break from deadlines and work and dive into this Duo Vita vitalizing lunch concert, open to everyone who could use a dose of live music and fresh energy.

Just before exam weeks kick off, Studium Generale invites students, staff, and anyone who loves beautiful music to take a well-deserved break with an uplifting lunch concert. Let your mind unwind and recharge as you enjoy an inspiring performance by Duo Vita.

Duo Vita consists of violinist Diana Fakour and cellist Emma Naegele: two young musicians who merge into one musical entity on stage. Their ensemble playing is powerful, energetic, and refined. It’s no coincidence that the duo won both the Press Prize and an audience award at the Prinses Christina Concours.

Both musicians combine an impressive solo repertoire with a passion for chamber music. Diana studies at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, Emma at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam. Their playing is expressive and full of joy, effortlessly drawing the audience into stories without words, exactly what makes chamber music so magical.

The musical menu they’ll serve us is still a surprise, but one thing is certain: you’ll hear Passacaglia by Händel/Halvorsen.
