From the cartoon-like chaos of Godzilla Eats Las Vegas and the playful slapstick of A Silent Movie Suite, to the tender melancholy of This Cruel Moon and a nostalgic selection of Charlie Chaplin themes, these pieces evoke vivid images as you listen! Sharp scene changes, strong contrasts in atmosphere, expressive solo moments and powerful orchestral colors: this is not abstract symphonic music but a fully theatrical experience.
Auletes presents this symphonic cinema under the direction of conductor Harvey Li. From the black-and-white world of silent film to the glitter of Las Vegas and the mythic realm of the Odyssey: sit back, relax and let your imagination take over. Auletes provides the soundtrack.
