Are you a natural storyteller who enjoys engaging with an audience? Do you want to be involved in one of the world’s most impactful photojournalism exhibitions, right here on campus? We’re looking for student tour guides for the World Press Photo Exhibition 2026 at TU/e!
From 6 to 28 October 2026, we will be hosting the World Press Photo exhibition in the Atlas building again. This year’s edition showcases the winning images from the year 2025, selected from over 57,000 submissions by photographers from 141 countries. These photos offer powerful perspectives on key global issues, capturing moments that are shocking, moving, and thought-provoking.
We’ll be offering guided tours throughout the exhibition period, and we need enthusiastic student guides to help visitors engage more deeply with the stories behind the photos.
We’re looking for (BA/MA) students who:
- Are passionate about photography and storytelling;
- Feel confident speaking in front of groups;
- Are available to give approximately seven tours between 6 and 28 October;
- Are fluent in English;
- Can independently prepare their tours using provided materials and a training tour by a World Press Photo expert.
You will be paid for the time spent giving tours, plus two hours of preparation time.
Interested? Send an email to Liza (l.s.gloudemans@tue.nl) before May 6th, 2026. Tell us a bit about yourself, and tell us why you’d like to become a student tour guide for the World Press Photo Exhibition 2026.
