Dutch novelist Arnon Grunberg is TU/e's Artist in Residence 2021. On 16 September 2021 he gave a lecture about meritocracy, addressing the question: “How far can you go to create an equal society?”. Meritocracy is a model in which it is not your background but your efforts and skills that determine where you end up on the social ladder. You can watch the full lecture here.
