On June 1st, Student Culture Association (Jazz) Studentproof organized the very well visited Gin & Jazz Festival.
Several Studentproofbands provided an evening filled with Jazz music. And the audience could choose from a fine selection of gins for a tongue-tumbling-tasting.
Studium Generale contributed to the festive evening by organizing a guest performance of Dutch jazz legend, trumpet player: Eric Vloeimans. He surely blew the roof off Corona Hall. Holland’s finest trumpeter has a long jazz career, from getting lessons in New York by the great Donald Byrd to playing with Joey Baron, Michiel Borstlap and Buge Wesseltoft and many, many more.
The concert hall was packed, fantastic music was played and in the end there wasn't a single soul who could sit still.
