Irish Airline Ryanair is a success story. It operates over 1,600 flights per day from 57 bases across 29 countries, connecting 180 destinations. It has a fleet of over 300 new Boeing 737-800 aircrafts and flies 80 million passengers annually. The company manages to  grow in an industry that is struggling. Ryanair is a low fare airline, cutting costs wherever possible. The business model is reflected in its basic marketing campaigns, its use of smaller airports and in its no-frills service level, for instance charging extra for luggage. Although Ryanair is doing well, it has also had its fair share of criticism.

Ryanair Deputy CEO Michael Cawley explains the success of Ryanair, goes into some of the controversies and takes questions from the audience.
