Stories have a great influence on our everyday life. A good story motivates people and gives them a sense of purpose. There’s nothing like a good story, so it’s important to get your own story right.
How to be aware of your personal story? Self-consciousness is more and more becoming a significant factor of success, not only in our personal life but also on an organizational and societal level. Understanding the structure of stories and being able to build up a narrative is an important skill that can help you to write an even better thesis, conduct a more in-depth research or give a more effective presentation.
This interactive workshop equips you with tangible and practical tools to enhance your skill of telling powerful stories. You will not only become conscious about your own personal story, but also practice storytelling techniques and learn to work with different types of stories.
The workshop is led by Dora Belme: researcher, cultural entrepreneur and coach in storytelling, narrative and creativity. Dora obtained her master’s degree in Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship Cum Laude in 2013. Her main research interests are performing arts, storytelling and the narrative perspective. Dora launched her own company, Dans.Art.Com during her studies.
