Prof. Enrico Drioli
Wednesday, September 28 2011, 11:45 AM - 1:00 PM (sold out)
Filmhuis De Zwarte Doos

Many of the modern problems we face are no longer national, but international in character. When it comes to for instance energy, climate change and water scarcity, we need to think beyond our own self-interest, to find sustainable solutions.  This requires a new outlook on science and engineering. Professor Enrico Drioli stresses the importance of international collaboration in science and in engineering to achieve the dream of sustainable industrial growth.

Prof. Enrico Drioli is founding director of the Institute on Membrane Technology of the National Research Council at the University of Calabria in Italy.
This lecture is organized with Technology for Development
