PechaKucha is a well proved Japanese concept which translates as ‘chit chat’. It is an open podium for presentations that take exactly 6 minutes and 40 seconds. The concept is simple: 12 speakers tell their story, each of them with their own fascination and passion by showing 20 images, each for 20 seconds. You can show anything in a presentation: a dream, a new product or technology, a great idea for a party, your favorite vacation spot… After exactly 400 seconds – 6 minutes and 40 seconds – the next speaker is ready to perform.
Originally from Japan, PechaKucha has spread to more than 750 cities, including London, San Francisco, Mexico City and Berlin. Pecha Kucha Night Eindhoven is produced jointly by TAC, Studium Generale and Capital D.
