Just like everyone else, the corona virus has shaken the life of the Studium Generale team members to its foundations. Our entire venue programming had to be put on hold and we've been looking for ways in which we can continue to encourage you to broaden your horizons in this age of social distancing. Even now. Or should we say, especially now.
Normally, the program overview on this website is almost bursting at the seams with lectures, workshops, exhibitions, films, theater and music performances. Everything offline and face to face. Sometimes you can almost smell the sweat of the artists. Unfortunately, this is not possible for the time being, which means we can only meet each other online.
Programs live streamed
We have temporarily changed the way we work and the way we present our programs. In the near future you will be able to visit a new online program every week, streamed live via our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. If you want to receive a notification when we go live, please follow us or subscribe. When you register for a program through our website, we will send you a reminder by email one day in advance.
On our socials you see more
Topics, speakers, artists, and form may vary, but it will definitely be fascinating and inspiring. We keep in touch with what's going on in society and are excited to experiment. We we only plan ahead for a short time, because nothing is certain in this day and age, so keep an eye on our website and socials and be sure to know what's coming up. In addition to program info, we'll also share tips, columns, long reads, podcasts, quizzes and "ultra short lectures". All to inspire you or just for fun. In the news section you can already take a look at some of them (and a few 'One minute tips' from our program makers can be found above).
