For the third time Studium Generale presents the Prix Pictet, with work by world famous photographers such as Edward Burtynsky , Mitch Epstein and Michael Wolf .

After ‘Water’ and ‘Earth’, the theme of this exhibition is "Growth" . Honorary president of Prix Pictet, Kofi Annan: “These photographs remind governments, the private sector - and all of us as individuals - of the urgent need to confront the challenge and paradoxes of our current pattern of growth before it is too late.” This is the only opportunity to watch this internationally acclaimed exhibition in the Netherlands.

Photography can depict our devastating environmental influences. The goal of Prix Pictet is to uncover photographic art of the highest order, capable of raising public awareness worldwide to the social and environmental challenges of the new millennium. This is your chance to see these gripping works. For free.

Official Opening: Wednesday 14 March after the Peter Ho lecture
